Learning to understand and help today’s young people is the goal of an online seminar hosted by Fresno Pacific University.

Often it seems that, right now, young people are falling apart due to mental health issues, depression, suicidal thoughts and deep questions concerning identity. “What is Happening to Our Young People” will help participants understand the pressures young people are under and introduce ways to improve their ability to cope.

The free, two-hour seminar begins on Zoom at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023. Sign up at eventbrite.com/e/what-is-happening-to-our-youth-tickets-519965319267

Insights will come from staff members at On-Site Counseling. For over 25 years, On-Site has provided affordable, quality, site-based and school-based counseling services, especially to the underserved, with professional counselors helping individuals, couples and families grow towards more healthy and functional lives. Services include individual adult, adolescent and child counseling, family counseling, group counseling and group education. On-Site continues to be a key asset in helping the community of faith navigate complex issues concerning the mental health of our youth.

Part of the New Skills for a New Era series, the seminar is sponsored by the Center for Community Transformation and Center for Anabaptist Studies, both part of the Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, and funded by a generous gift from the Lilly Endowment Inc.
