Fresno Pacific University hosted the end of “21 Days of Prayer and Fasting” January 31, 2016, an annual renewal event sponsored by Northpark Community Church, Fresno.

The hope was that people would come to worship, celebrate and pray before returning to their previous diets and routines, according to Bob Willis, Northpark senior pastor. “A big thanks to FPU and Angulus for hosting us. And to Pastor Jymme Foote for putting together an amazing worship team,” he said. Angulus Wilson, Ph.D., is the university pastor at FPU and Jymme and Lana Foote are pastors at Breaking Free Revival Center, Fresno.

An estimated 500-750 people, including around 50 pastors, attended the event in the Special Events Center on the main FPU campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave. Among the activities were prayers of thanks for the winter rain and requesting repentance and revival. Wilson called the event an “awesome opportunity.” “I invited them to have it here because we want to be a place to convene the work of the local church,” he said.
