Not only did they speak Hebrew, they ate Middle Eastern food, read Scripture in Hebrew, watched an Israeli movie (in Amharic, French and Hebrew – with subtitles), played games in Hebrew and enjoyed Israeli/Hebrew music. While Brian Schultz, Ph.D., biblical and religious studies faculty, and his wife, Rachel, led activities, the event was the brainchild of classics student Michaelynne Whittsit and organized by students.
