A conference hosted by Fresno Pacific University and Central Valley Youth Network will explore how youth groups can prepare to serve.

Cultivate Conference 2023 will be March 4, 2023, on the main FPU campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave., Fresno. Speakers from the community and university will help high school students and youth leaders explore the “why?” around missions, equipping youth with the tools to better serve the Kingdom of God in our city and around the world. Keynote speaker Joe Romero is the youth and young adults pastor at Via Fresno and founder of YTH Collective, a non-profit ministry focused on unifying, equipping and championing youth, young adult pastors and next-gen leaders in the Central Valley.

  • Brian Davis, campus chaplain at FPU
  • Sophia Magallanes-Tang, Ph.D., assistant professor of biblical and theological studies at FPU
  • Brad Isaak, associate pastor of youth & families at North Fresno Church
  • Marcus Marshall, local follower of Jesus with a passion to reach the lost and help raise up the next generation
  • Quentin Kinnison, Ph.D., associate professor and director of the Christian ministry and leadership program at FPU
  • Carlos Huerta, executive director of the FPU Center for Community Transformation
