The Fresno Pacific University Bakersfield Campus opened at new locations March 11, 2019.

Classes take place at Bakersfield Christian High School (BCHS), 12775 Stockdale Hwy, and administrative offices are at 1518 Mill Rock Way, Suite 101, across from the Bakersfield Marketplace shopping mall. Major telephone numbers are:

Main line—661-617-4500

Mayra Trevino, campus outreach and admission representative—661-617-4511

Dani Fox-Lopez, assistant director for advising—661-617-4510

Misty Garcia, regional campus coordinator—661-617-4512

Faculty and staff telephone numbers and email addresses remain the same.

FPU leaders appreciate the help of BCHS. “The administration and staff of Bakersfield Christian High School have been very accommodating to all our needs, including IT, storage space, classrooms, security and parking,” said Jon Endicott, vice president of enrollment management. “We are very excited about this partnership and look forward to the future of our Fresno Pacific University Bakersfield programs as they continue to grow.”

The new location for classes is about 1.5 miles west of the former location at 11000 River Run Blvd. The move was necessary after the lease expired at the end of March. The change began March 8, and the present arrangement is expected to last two years while the university seeks a permanent location.

The Bakersfield Campus is a direct extension of Fresno Pacific University’s main campus, offering accelerated bachelor’s degree completion programs as well as master’s degrees and credentials. All courses take place in the evening and are taught by experienced faculty. More about the campus and its offerings at fresno.edu/location/bakersfield-campus

“Please be assured that the quality and content of your program will not be affected by this location change. We continue to place a high emphasis on providing you with an exceptional educational experience,” Endicott says.
