Fresno artist Jamie Meadows will be featured for the month of March at Fresno Pacific University. The ArtHop opening reception will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, with the exhibit continuing through March 28.

The show, “I Still Love You,” will be in Ewert Art Gallery, part of the Warkentine Culture and Arts Center, 4838 E. Butler Ave., on the main FPU campus. Admission to all events is free.

“I Still Love You” features work created between 2022 and 2025 using media including acrylic paint, metal leaf, iridescent paints, notebook paper and collaged original sketches. These introspective pieces explore themes ranging from loss and grief to hopefulness. “The use of paper pages in my work may reference concepts of story, whether it be the story of the creative process of a project or the story of a human life or lives, and the potential of these to edify, comfort and illuminate,” Meadows says.

Meadows received her B.A. in Studio Art and M.F.A. in Visual Art at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. In addition to her studio practice, Meadows is an educator who has taught art in settings including the Fresno Metropolitan Museum of Art and Science, the Fresno Art Museum and Fresno Pacific University. More about Meadows and her work at jaimemeadows.com
