Do you remember nearing seminary graduation and wondering what was next? Are you currently in between jobs in ministry or the marketplace, wondering where your next "call" is going to come from? As a church do you have trepidation as you consider the search for new staff, wondering where to begin?
MB Biblical Seminary understands these questions and knows our students, alumni and conference churches are asking them. In an effort to help and encourage these three groups in their search for employment and staff, we have launched an interactive page on our website dedicated to placement.
By visiting www.mbseminary.edu/placement you will be able to browse job openings both within the Mennonite Brethren Conference and outside of it, submit new openings and even post your resume. Job openings range from positions in churches and parachurch ministries to openings for mental health professionals. We welcome postings from the United States, Canada and worldwide.
"Having a strong placement program is an important part of our vision as a Seminary and I'm glad we've put this tool into place to make that happen," says Rick Bartlett, Dean of Students for MB Biblical Seminary and administrator in charge of placement. "I hope our students, alumni and constituent churches find this a helpful forum in which to find one another."
Submissions must be approved by our Placement staff and this is usually done within 1-2 business days. It is our hope that we will hear of many successful connections being made between those needing to fill positions and those being placed.
