The March 20 reception and poster session took place in and around AIMS Hall. Academic programs, athletics, student life and others put up displays describing their work and how it serves the mission of the university to "develop students for leadership and service through excellence in Christian higher education." Science displays set a learned tone, which strolling actors and a Concert Choir performance added an artistic flair. The event, the first of its kind, was part of a site visit by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, which accredits the university.
