A nationally known expert on making organizations employers of choice as well as attracting and retaining superior talent will be the keynote speaker at Leadership Forum 2024, hosted by Fresno Pacific University.

The FPU Leadership Forum calls Valley leaders to transformational leadership that inspires innovation and collaboration, building a shared vision for the flourishing of our region. The event, including presentations on multi-generational workplaces and the future of AI, will take place from 8:00 a.m. to noon Friday, April 12, 2024, in Warkentine Culture and Arts Center, 4838 E. Butler Ave., on the main FPU campus. Register at Leadership Forum - 2024 | Fresno Pacific University  or fresno.edu/leadershipforum. Sponsorship options are available.

The keynote, “Psychological Safety in the Workplace,” will be by Janine Hamner, founder of J&J Consulting Group, LLC. Additional speakers are Daniel Larsen, PHR, senior human resources consultant, and Todd Vasquez, Ph.D., instructional designer.

Psychological safety in business fosters an environment where individuals feel secure to take interpersonal risks, express dissenting opinions openly and voice concerns without worry about negative consequences or pressure to soften criticisms.

Janine Hamner Holman brings more than 30 years’ experience using scientifically proven strategies to help great organizations create thriving workplaces with engaged, emotionally intelligent, high-performing teams led by dynamic, innovative and compassionate leaders. She has worked with clients from Fortune 200 companies to local non-profits to create great working environments while also honoring the bottom line. She is especially focused on assisting organizations to become an employer of choice to attract and retain superior talent in the coming (and in many industries already here!) era of increased labor competition.
