A group of 14 college students from Fresno Pacific University participated in a three-day learning tour along the United States-Mexico border. The tour was designed to educate about immigration and trade issues. The experience dramatically impacted two students’ perspectives on immigration.
The tour was co-sponsored by West Coast Mennonite Central Commitee to help students increase their understanding and knowledge of the social, economic, political and theological significance of migration in border communities, including advocacy tools and capacity building to engage others on borderlands and migration issues.
