An author and pastor whose work explores the power of kindness and goodness in a purposeful and spiritually authentic life will be the Visiting Pastor at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, part of Fresno Pacific University, April 22-23, 2025.
Rich Villodas, lead pastor of New Life Fellowship, a large, multiracial church in Queens, NY, is the guest of the seminary Visiting Pastors Series. He will present several events aimed at different audiences on the main FPU campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave., Fresno:

Rich Villodas
In addition to leading New Life Fellowship, Villodas is a key speaker for Emotionally Healthy Discipleship—a movement that has touched hundreds of thousands of people. He graduated with a B.A. in pastoral ministry and theology from Nyack College and a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. He enjoys reading widely and preaching and writing on contemplative spirituality, justice-related issues and the art of preaching. He and his wife, Rosie, have two children and reside in Queens. Villodas’ award-winning first book, The Deeply Formed Life (2020) offers a transformative path for those seeking depth and intentionality. In Good and Beautiful and Kind (2022) he explores the power of kindness and living with goodness in a complex world. The Narrow Path (2024) challenges readers to walk a purposeful and spiritually authentic life in the midst of distractions.
