A blueprint for leadership, a vision for the multi-generational workplace and a look at the future of AI in business were all presented at Leadership Forum 2024, hosted by Fresno Pacific University.

The FPU Leadership Forum calls Valley leaders to transformational leadership that inspires innovation and collaboration, building a shared vision for the flourishing of our region. About 130 people enjoyed the event, which took place from 8:00 a.m. to noon Friday, April 12, 2024, in Warkentine Culture and Arts Center, 4838 E. Butler Ave., on the main FPU campus.

The keynote, "Visionary Blueprint: A Leadership Design Lab,” was presented by Suzana Dobric Veiss, Ph.D., assistant professor of business and LEAD Program Director. An internationally known speaker on change and uncertainty, Dobric Veiss has her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, as well as both her Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies and her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with Marketing/Management Emphasis from FPU.

Multi-Generations in the Workplace

This workshop discussed broad generational preferences among Zoomers, Millennials, Generation X and Boomers, and how organizations can create positive environments with generationally diverse workgroups. Dan Larsen is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a senior consultant specializing in employment law compliance, leadership development and full HR management support.

Todd Vasquez, PH.D. - Instructional Designer 
Leading with Purpose: Addressing the Impending AI Divide

Todd Vasquez looked at how AI disrupts power and control within organizations to give leaders insights into their evolving role in this new landscape. Vasquez is an AI enthusiast and educator with a passion for technology, philosophy and theology. An instructional designer for FPU, he helps faculty create effective courses.
