Student elected to CAHPERD post

Kacey Jones, a student in the kinesiology program, has been selected as vice president-elect of interscholastic athletics by the California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (CAHPERD). Founded in 1930, CAHPERD is a non-profit, voluntary membership corporation formed to “support and promote the organizing and progress of school, community and statewide programs of health, physical education, recreation and dance,” according to its website.
