Two Fresno Pacific University Safety Officers have been honored for their lifesaving efforts by the California College and University Police Chiefs Association.
Officer JR Murillo and Sgt. Sean Bradbury were awarded the CCUPCA Medal of Merit for performing CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an attempt to save the life of a man who suffered a massive heart attack while riding his bicycle on Willow Avenue near the FPU Track April 17, 2023. The award was presented at the 2024 Spring CCUPCA Conference, April 3-5, in Reno.
