About 130 FPU students displayed projects during Undergraduate Research Day April 16. The annual event took place in the AIMS Hall of Mathematics & Science on the main Fresno campus and was hosted by the School of Natural Resources. Individuals and teams performed experiments in biology, chemistry, kinesiology, psychology, mathematics and other disciplines and presented their findings through posters. Among the winners were: Understanding Botrytis (a plant fungus)—From Pathogenicity to Genomes, Determining Recovery Time in Athletes and The Ugly Truth of Self-Perception.
