Ceremonies will be outdoors, weather permitting, on the East Hall Green on the main campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave. Commencement for traditional undergraduates and graduate students including the seminary begins at 10:00 a.m., and the ceremony for bachelor's degree completion is at 6:00 p.m.

Of the estimated 527 graduates, 280 are from bachelor's degree completion programs, 158 are from traditional undergraduate programs, 69 are from graduate programs and 20 are from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. Degree completion graduates studied at FPU regional centers in Bakersfield, Visalia, North Fresno and Merced.

The commencement address will be "Culture Warriors or Agents of Shalom?" from D. Merrill Ewert, Ph.D., who is retiring after 10 years as FPU president.

A new feature of the morning commencement will be the Golden Graduates. Alumni from 1960-1962 will be honored by walking in the ceremony and enjoying a special lunch.

Receptions for all graduates, families and friends will follow the morning ceremony and precede the evening event at 4:30 p.m. Both events will be on the lawn east of McDonald Hall and west of the commencement site.
