MB Biblical Seminary Recognizes Community Service with Award

MB Biblical Seminary announced today they have selected Kings View as the recipient of their Community Service Award for 2009. Officials say the organization was chosen because their efforts have brought healing and hope to many men, women, and children throughout the Valley.

"We honor Kings View for being a transformational agency in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. We honor their Christ-centered vision and mission: To provide community mental health and social services to those with limited resources, and to do so in the spirit of Christ's example of love, compassion and respect for all persons," said Lynn Jost, Acting President of MB Biblical Seminary.

Officials say Kings View was started in 1951 by the Mennonite Churches in California for the purpose of providing mental health services to residents of the California Central Valley. Since its beginning, Kings View has focused on constantly finding the better way to provide quality mental health services.
MB Biblical Seminary, with campuses in Fresno, California; Langley, British Columbia; and Winnipeg, Manitoba, seeks to inspire and equip men and women to be disciples of Jesus Christ, and to serve and lead in the church and in the world.
