Founded by former Professor of Marriage, Family and Child Counseling Al Dueck, Ph.D., the agency provides quality, affordable and professional counseling to individuals, couples, families and groups. There are about 40 people on staff, nine of whom are full time. Counseling students and recent graduates work part-time under the supervision of licensed marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers and clinical psychologists.

In all, On-Site has served more than 16,000 clients, estimates Mary Shamshoian, L.M.F.T., director of the agency for 12 years. On-Site has contracts with about three dozen elementary, middle and high schools and several Head Start programs in a half dozen school districts, as well as FPU. The agency has also worked with churches and other organizations.
