Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer visited Fresno Pacific University May 24, 2021, to meet with university leaders and take a tour of the main campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave. Before sitting down with Joseph Jones, Ph.D., president, Dyer and Donald Griffith, vice president of advancement and executive director of the FPU Foundation, looked over progress on the Warkentin Culture and Arts Center, now under construction. The 26,000-square-foot center is set to be ready for university and community use in the winter of 2022 and will feature mainstage and black box theaters, a grand foyer, an art gallery and other facilities.
