FPU President D. Merrill Ewert was the main speaker, and music was provided by music teacher candidates and the Roosevelt High School orchestra. For the third year, candidates received a painting from Janice Leppke, former faculty. The image was called "Rooted and Grounded," which was the program theme for the 2011-2012 year.
