Krista Brooks and Martha Fregoso won awards at the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) annual conference, this year held June 5-8, 2018, at Trinity Western University in Vancouver, BC.
Brooks, director of traditional undergraduate admission, was named the 2018 Admissions Officer of the Year. This award is given annually to an individual “whose efforts toward advancing enrollment in Christian Higher Education are recognized by students, peers and the coalition.” Fregoso, admission counselor for diversity and outreach, was recognized with a Rookie of the Year award for people who have been in the profession less than two years and are making a difference for Christian higher education.
NACCAP is composed of admissions and guidance personnel from over 300 Christian high schools, liberal arts colleges and universities, Bible colleges, graduate schools and seminaries throughout North America. The association strives to advance enrollment in Christian higher education through activities including administering more than 130 Christian university and college fairs each year.
