Fresno Pacific University will host its University Convocation at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Special Events Center on the main campus.
“We want to welcome you back to another incredible community opportunity to serve one another and our students,” said Joseph Jones, Ph.D., president. “As we find ourselves gathering for another year of service to our Lord, let us be encouraged to pray for one another, build up one another, and join with one another in making a difference in the lives of our students.”
All faculty, staff and students are expected to attend and offices, meetings, team practices and other events will be closed or canceled for the hour in order to start the year in a special service to honor the Lord in the work of the university. “Thank you for your commitment to corporate spiritual formation this year. May the Lord’s favor rest on the work of our hands, as we honor him this year, in this place,” Jones said.
