Students, faculty and staff gathered for a cup of coffee and a lot of conversation during the Grand Re-Opening of Charlotte’s Coffee Corner Friday, September 6, 2024. The event was from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the shop, part of Alumni Hall on the main FPU campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave., Fresno.

Charlotte’s sells snacks, candy, sodas and specialty coffee drinks. Visitors can gather in comfy chairs in front of the fireplace or around tables to meet up with friends, faculty and colleagues. Improvements include new flooring, tile, fixtures and furniture to update the atmosphere of this campus favorite. The budget for the project is $100,000.

The improvements and renovations to Charlotte’s Corner were made possible by a gift from long-time donors and friends of the university, Max and Charlotte Steinert. This generosity is representative of the Steinert’s ongoing commitment to invest in FPU students and ensure excellence in the student experience.(FPU photo by Megan LeBlanc)
