The Syrinx, Fresno Pacific University’s student publication, received a California Press Foundation Equipment Grant for $1,500. Joe Kieta, the editor of The Fresno Bee, who endorsed the April grant application, was on the main campus September 11 to deliver the check during the weekly staff meeting.
