MSN student gets award at Community Regional Medical Center

Plaque of award of excellence

Amritpal Padda, who is studying for a Master of Science in Nursing at FPU, was named employee of the month for August and the neuroscience ICU department was given the award of excellence at Community Regional Medical Center.

Padda is a registered nurse who works in the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit at CRMC. The honors came from a project he undertook to create an Excel spreadsheet that helped the unit accurately document a series of vitals in stroke patients. Padda is using the project as his MSN project. Padda thanked Rox Ann Sparks, D.N.P. director of the RN to BSN program, for her mentorship.
