Empowering leaders was a theme of this issue. The lead story explored the background and styles of five alumni in top positions in business, public service and education. Other articles looked at an international trailblazer in business and community development, a teacher of the year, FPU's new strategic plan, a national award from a Hispanic group and high marks we received on a federal education scorecard.
