Every Neighborhood Partnership honored the Center for Community Transformation at Fresno Pacific University with its annual Patti Negrete Heart of Service Award.

The annual award was launched out of the Patty Project in September of 2002 to honor the passing of community activist Patty Negrete. The Patty Project originally consisted of three churches partnering with three inner-city elementary schools to launch Saturday sports and mentoring programs at each site. The award honors individuals and organizations that work with Every Neighborhood Partnership and model her approach to servant-leadership.

Andrew Feil, executive director of Every Neighborhood Partnership, presented the award to Carlos Huerta, CCT executive director, and members of the center staff October 10, 2024, during EVN’s Fall in Love with Fresno fundraiser.
