Vocal ensembles, handbell choir perform in November

A trio of Fresno Pacific University musical ensembles will be featured in a pair of November concerts.

The Concert Choir will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday, November 18, in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Fresno. The 35-voice choir sings a variety of classical choral work.

The Women's Chorale and Handbell Choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, in the McDonald Hall Atrium on the university campus. Each group has about 15 members and the program will include carols and secular pieces.

All three choirs are made up of FPU students and led by faculty. Concert Choir Conductor Roy Klassen is chair of the university music department. Arlene Steffen conducts the Women's Chorale and Elizabeth Gonzales the Handbell Choir.
