Players were joined by their family and friends at FPU Baseball Field October 22. After a chance to socialize and bid on a silent auction, team members served dinner to the guests. Later head coach Oscar Hirschkorn talked about the upcoming year and introduced FPU President D. Merrill Ewert, who addressed the future of the athletics amidst changes such as joining the NCAA Division II. The evening closed with two former Sunbird baseball players sharing their stories and telling how FPU prepared them for life after college.
