Students got a chance to pick up some clothing and other supplies during Thrift in The Forest (Alumni Plaza) November 15, 2023, on the main Fresno Pacific University campus. The Office of Spiritual Formation and specifically Sunbird Pantry teamed up with Community Chest, a local nonprofit, to provide a range of clothing item and styles, with prices set by the customers. Community Chest, 2305 S. Stanislaus St., Fresno, shares FPU’s commitment to Christ and service. Jordan Greynolds, who operates the store, quoted the company mission: “Community Chest strives to honor the Lord as we seen the physical and spiritual welfare of Fresno and Clovis.
