Between 700-750 students, faculty, staff, administrators and other friends of Fresno Pacific University sat down to turkey with all the trimmings November 20, 2018, at the annual Thanksgiving Luncheon.

The atmosphere was indeed special in the Special Event Center on the main campus as people from regional campuses in Merced, North Fresno, Visalia and Bakersfield were invited to eat, pray and love the season together. The message was brought by Paul Micu, pastor for preaching and young adults at Highview Bible Church, Clovis, and alumnus, former staff member and member of the FPU Board of Trustees, and everyone joined in the school song, led by Bethany Alvey, D.M.A., assistant professor of music and director of choral activities. The University Communications & Marketing Office won the table decorating award with its rendition of Fresno’s iconic Christmas Tree Lane as part of the theme of “Celebrating the Central Valley.”
