About 400 people from across the Fresno Pacific University community came together to restart a holiday tradition November 22, 2022, with a full Thanksgiving lunch. Faculty, administrators, staff and students gathered for turkey and the trimmings in the Special Events Center. People from all campuses: Merced, North Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield and the main campus in Southeast Fresno, which is also home to the Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. The event, the first since 2020, included a regular feature—the Parade of Flags representing all the nations sending international students to FPU—and something new—a performance by Christian illusionist Brady Lee (seen here at left with Allen Carden, Ph.D., professor of history). The cost of the feast was covered by a generous donation from members of the FPU Board of Trustees.
