The work of the Center for Community Transformation (CCT) to address community problems through social enterprise have caught the attention of Leadership Education at Duke University.

The article "A seminary program cultivate healthy economies to grow healthy communities" is on the Leadership Education website at faithandleadership.com/seminary-program-cultivates-healthy-economies-grow-healthy-communities. Cyndee Fontana-Ott is the writer and Tomas Ovalle the photographer.

The focus is on CCT's Spark Tank and some of the enterprises it has supported with about $136,000 in star-up awards, as well as instructional activities, since 2013. Cornerstone Coffee Co., Rock Pile Landscaping and Trim a Tree With Me are among those mentioned.
