Ceremonies will be Saturday, December 15, in the Special Events Center on the main FPU campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave., Fresno. Students in the traditional undergraduate, seminary and other graduate programs will graduate at 10:00 a.m., and students in the bachelor's degree completion programs will graduate at 1:30 p.m.

The speaker at both events will be Pete C. Menjares, Ph.D., president of FPU.

Of the approximately 417 graduates, 267 are from degree completion. These working adults make up the largest portion of FPU's student body of more than 3,500. They attend one of the university's regional centers in Merced, North Fresno, Visalia and Bakersfield.

The 96 graduate students include those from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, as well as those earning master's degrees in education, business and other areas of study. The remaining 54 students come from traditional undergraduate programs, which posted an enrollment milestone in the fall of 2012 by surpassing 1,200 for the first time in the school's 68-year history.
