Foster youth advocacy organization honors Kizzy Lopez, Ed.D.

Kizzy Lopez, Ed.D., assistant professor of social work, is one of three women honored for Black History Month by Pivotal, a non-profit committed to improving the outcome for foster youth. According to the website: “Black History Month is both a time to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of Black Americans as well as reflect on the inequities and injustices plaguing our country.
