Rod Janzen, Ed.D., professor of humanities, has been appointed chairman of the board of the William Saroyan Society, a non-profit, public service organization based in Fresno, the home of the Pulitzer prize-winning author and playwright. The society is dedicated to promoting the life, times and literary works of Saroyan, while educating the public about the human values depicted in his writing.
