Ivan Paz (MA ’15, BA ’09), presented a paper based on his last thesis on March 18, 2017, at the American Academy of Religion and received the award for best paper from an independent scholar. The paper's title is "The Myth of Ontological Sinfulness: How the Notion of Inherent Sinfulness Contributes to the Scapegoating of Ethnic Minorities."
