Gregory Zubacz, J.D., Ph.D., associate provost, is one of 36 candidates accepted into the 11th Cohort of the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy for 2020-2021. Admission is competitive, with selection based on professional qualifications and commitment to student achievement and educational effectiveness. The academy blends online assignments and discussions and in-person meetings over 10-months to explore the theory, practice, history, and policy behind contemporary assessment practice. Participants develop strategies to improve student learning and practical assessment skills while preparing for leadership in teaching and learning, academic policy, organizational change and institutional strategy.
