Steve Varvis publishes a model of gracious leadership

Steve Varvis, Ph.D., professor of history, published a post called “Model of Gracious Leadership,” on the blog of the Christian History Institute. His example is Jeanne d’Albret, Queen of Navarre and mother of Henry IV of France, who, while remaining loyal to the Catholic monarchy, supported freedom of worship for Protestants such as herself and granted clemency to some leaders of a rebellion against her.
