Robin Perry, Ed.D., director of the preliminary single subject credential program, presented on the Fresno Teacher Residency Program with fellow FPU graduate Amy Bennett from Fresno Unified School District at the California Teacher Residency Lab Symposium April 27-28, 2023, in San Francisco. In their presentation, “Partnering for Success: Integrating Clinical Practice with Coursework and Professional Learning,” they shared program design and communication structures through which they align coursework, clinical practice and professional learning to create a coherent teacher education experience for residents. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in small group discussions to further explore the potential of these partnerships practices in their own work.
