Darren Duerksen, Ph.D., associate professor and program director of intercultural and religious studies, was given a Curriculum Development Grant by Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) to be used in the summer of 2019 on a project to “support the development or revision of an undergraduate course that integrates interfaith themes.” Duerksen will design a course called Religion, Health and Healing in a collaboration between the intercultural and religious studies program and the School of Natural Sciences, hope to launch in the spring of 2020.
