Two 2024 psychology graduates from Fresno Pacific University presented their poster Thriving?: A Study of First-Generation Freshmen at Fresno Pacific University May 18 during the Central California Behavioral Health Conference at Alliant International University’s Fresno Campus. The poster by Alyssa Robles and Savannah Dias culminated a year-long project managed by Elizabeth Lake, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology at FPU. Lake’s research group also included four other psychology graduates and Sarah Micu, assistant director of the FPU Academic Success Center. Robles and Dias graduated in May 2024. Robles is from Parlier and Dias is from Easton. The conference was open to all undergraduate and graduate students in psychology (or a related field) presenting on behavioral health.
