Mathias Duck (SM ’07) is the global advocacy manager for The Leprosy Mission International. He lives in Asunción, Paraguay.

Arrowhead Forestry Mulching is now Arrowhead Agriculture. This is an agriculture and forestry services business owned by Hannah (Mendes) Gill (BA ’14) and her husband, Levi.

Delbert Warkentin (BA ’15) has earned a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University. Delbert lives in Paraguay and is the Fundraising Coordinator at Fundación Carácter and Public Relations Administrator at Instituto Bíblico Asunción (Mennonite Brethern Seminary of Paraguay).

Lucy (Hughes) Van Scyoc (MA ’06, TC ’93, BA ’92) has been selected as superintendent of Tulare Joint Union High School, according to an April 23 report from KSEE 24 (NBC TV) yourcentralvalley.com/news/education/tulare-joint-union-high-school-selects-new-superintendent/

David Arzola (TC ’05, BA ’04) is a teacher for Dinuba Unified School District.

After 40 years as a theater arts teacher (including writing the Moodle shell for the Creative Drama class at FPU Merced Campus), C. Alan Bettis (TC ’92, BA ’81) is retiring from Buhach Colony High School.

Erika Escudero (FS ’20) is a teacher for Porterville Unified School District.

Black Bauer (BA ’16) has been promoted to territory manager at TTI (Techtronic Industries Company Limited). He will be managing a team of reps for the Milwaukee, Ryobi and Ridgid brands in the Central California market. He feels incredibly blessed by this opportunity and cannot wait to continue his career at TTI.

Erica Lassen (BA ’05) is assistant registrar, degree audit and transfer credit and articulation officer at Fresno State.

John Carter (BA ’78) is minister of religion at Hull Unitarian Church and Lincoln Unitarian Chapel in London, England.

Rob Rose (SM ’06) is installation chaplain for the U.S. Air Force and is stationed in San Antonio, TX.
