Two faculty publish in Directions

A pair of faculty have articles in the latest edition of Direction: A Mennonite Brethren Forum. In the Spring 2012 issue, Mark Baker, Ph.D., associate professor of mission and theology, published "Which Courtroom and Which Narrative Shapes Your Atonement Theology?" Ryan Schellenberg, Ph.D., assistant professor of biblical studies, published "Recovering the Scandal of the Cross: A ‘Redaction-critical' Reflection."

According to directionjournal.org, for more than 30 years Direction has been addressing biblical, theological, historical, ethical and church-related issues. A semiannual publication, Direction is supported by Mennonite Brethren higher education institutions in the United States and Canada, including Bethany College, Hepburn, Saskatchewan; Canadian Mennonite University, Winnipeg, Manitoba; Columbia Bible College, Abbotsford, British Columbia; FPU; Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary Canada, Langley, British Columbia and Winnipeg, Manitoba; Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kansas; and The Canadian Conference and the U.S. Conference of the Mennonite Brethren Church.
