Will Dyck was honored by Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer with the Downtown Champion Award during the State of the City program June 25 at Chukchansi Park. Dyck, a 1997 graduate and member of the FPU Board of Trustees was the first recipient of the prize for his work as president of Summa Development Group. The company has developed and leased historic or abandoned downtown buildings including the old Hotel Virginia and structures along Warehouse Row. Summa has also partnered with Bitwise Industries.
