Patricia Anderson brings experience to FPU provost’s position

Patricia Anderson has joined Fresno Pacific University as provost and vice president for academic affairs. Before coming to FPU Anderson was provost of Azusa Pacific University.

Andersonis a member of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Substantive Change Committee and the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) Chief Academic Officers' Commission. She has received fellowships from the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare (now Health and Human Services) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in addition to a United Way Award of Distinction. Her doctorate and master's are from Claremont Graduate School and her bachelor's degree is from the University of Minnesota.
