Darren Duerksen writes on interpreting the Gospel interculturally

Darren Duerksen, Ph.D., associate professor and director of the intercultural and religious studies program, published the book Seeking Church: Emerging Witnesses to the Kingdom in October 2019 with IVP Academic, an imprint of InterVarsity Press. In the book, Duerksen and co-author William A. Dryness explore how Christian movements have been and are engaged in a “reverse hermeneutic,” where the Gospel is read and interpreted through existing cultural and religious norms.
