Business faculty speak on “Insights” program at accreditation council meeting

Sharon Starcher, D.B.A., assistant professor of business and director of the degree completion business administration program, and Michelle Bradford, Psy.D., assistant professor of business and director of the MBA program, presented at the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Region 7 Fall Conference in Nampa, ID, October 13-14, 2022. Their presentation, “Building a New Revenue Stream: Collaboration With Community Partners,” used the Business Insights program as an example of how community at Fresno Pacific University reaches beyond the campus. Business Insights is a School of Business (SBU) program that offers workplace education and training through short videos, virtual roundtable discussions, workshops and seminars, and corporate training. Through Business Insights, the SBU works with the Advancement and Enrollment offices to enhance public relations and funding for the School of Business by promoting both degree programs for potential students and continuous improvement opportunities for local organizations. In addition, the SBU collaborates with the Office of Continuing Education to offer certificates and badges in multiple business areas.
