Melanie Howard in CCCU article on Latino students workshop

Melanie Howard, Ph.D., assistant professor of biblical and theological studies, is featured in an article on the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) website regarding the “Best Practices for Teaching First-Generation Latino Students” workshop CCCU hosted in May at BestSemester’s Latin American Studies Program (LASP) in San Jose, Costa Rica. In the article, posted October 24, Howard talked about helping faculty and students connect despite differing cultural and communications styles.
