Kizzy Lopez co-publishes article on COVID impact on students with foster care experience

Kizzy Lopez, Ed.D., assistant professor of social work, co-published an article in the Children and Youth Services Review with Jennifer Geiger, Ph.D., University of Illinois Chicago; Nathaneal Okpych, Ph.D., University of Connecticut; and Sara Gamez, Ed.D., Cal Poly Pomona. The article is titled, “The impact of COVID-19 on campus-based support programs serving students with foster care experience: Focus groups with administrators and student.” This study was funded by the University of Connecticut Scholarship Fund and Fresno Pacific University Diversity Research Seed Grant.
